The Balloon Fiesta in Albuquerque, New Mexico

It was my first time at a hot air balloon fiesta.  I have been in a hot air balloon over Sedona, Arizona.  Sweet.  Saturday morning was a bit too windy.  About 30 – 40 balloons took off.  Sunday – that was a different story – so many balloons, small single baskets to BIG BIG shapes, up, up , and away!

I especially loved the POW-MIA balloon.  Why?  Because it didn’t have to be there.  It isn’t a company advertising itself.  It isn’t a club nor balloon company.  It is a reminder to remember, to never forget our country-people that serve to maintain and keep our freedom.  it had a fierce bald eagle on a black background.  It was solemn and proud.  It was my favorite because it represented people that make a difference with an ultimate sacrifice.  Thank you.  God bless you.

It was magnificent to be there on the field among the balloons taking off.  Such a rush of energy.  So beautiful to behold.

I love my life.
