Check-in August 19th after 9:00AM and check-out by 12:00PM August 22st. $300 covers your four day/three night stay and two eclipse viewing glasses

which I hopped on immediately and became the 107th person to make a reservation.  There were 350 of us in this huge meadow August 20th.

a journey is more than a destination though.

I rented a standard suv, unlimited miles which I picked up the morning of Friday, August 18th.  I packed my tent, blow-up mattress, bedding, bed roll, propane stove and firepit, camping seat, camping table, canopy with bug net, Cooler with food, Emergency go-bag, Kelly’s stuff, Kelly, Dr. Forbin’ stuff (a friend and fellow member of LAPACC) and Dr. Forbin in my boat with wheels and off we went to take the back roads of the 395 up the eastern California Sierra’s.

First stop, I shared the ice cream/coffee shop in Lone Pine Bistro on Main Street.  It was hot, so i had a frappe.  They are delicious.

Sourdough bread at Schat’s Bakery in Bishop is perfect to wrap around those meat patties I made for travel food.

First night, we stayed at the Andruss Motel in Coleville.  They remembered me from from when i stayed her when visiting my daughter and son-in-law.  Kelly ran around, she really loved it.  This is a great motel stop or stay for a fishing vacation.  Room has a kitchen and all the stuff you would need.

work in progress, I’ll be back….

Equus International Pony Play Event August 11 – 14

So much work to produce an event.  Finding the perfect staff, writing for Sponsors, communicating with participants so they have an excellent experience.  I am immensely proud of Equus International Pony Play Event.  The videos will be posted first on the you tube channel

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCC9KDBkq024fqLy4x7arvHQ

And then on the Equus IPPE web site:  http://www.equusippe.com/

There was a herd of people that support me in this endeavor.  Thank you all.

Mostly, I am overjoyed that the event feels like coming home to a chosen family.  We are seen and known by one another.  There is love abounding.  The games are fun.  It is up to the participants to raise the bar for themselves, to do their personel best.  My Pony and I definately stretch each other during the event.

The highlight for me was the 15 minute presentations by people whom we have never heard give a class.  They were fascinating, we got who these people were, it was superb.

And we do it again next year, August 10 – 13, 2018.
