I stayed at a new hotel in Dallas this time, the Fairmont.

This hotel was on the edge of the Art district, the Historical part of Dallas and the downtown business center. It was only 4 blocks to the same Chase Bank I went to before, but I approached it from the other side. It was interesting to walk around these blocks of downtown. It also made me realize how little I get out when I am working unless someone takes me out, how little time I have to walk and explore.

While walking to the bank, I noticed trolley signs, wires and tracks. Since I grew up in San Francisco, I have a fondness for trolleys. I took the trolley for several blocks and stopped at a Starbuck’s, got coffee and took a different trolley back. It was fun. I have no idea where I went, some other district in the northeast part of Dallas with lots of bars and restaurants as far as I could see.

I had an excellent time in Dallas. It is a city where I have a sponsor. A sponsor is a gentleman that always sees me when I visit a certain city and books at least four hours of my time which covers my basic costs. These sponsors are why I visit some cities more than others. What I love about seeing a gentleman over and over for extended time is that our relationship grows, our foundation of trust expands and we have sufficient time together to explore the D/s dynamic and areas of BDSM play that make me cringe, but I am willing to try to do my best. There aren’t a lot of types of play that make me cringe. Some of this play is being in rope or bondage for extended time or bound completely helpless, or electrical play or sensory deprivation. Extended time together also means we can explore wax play more fully or sploshing. These messy types of play require extensive setup and cleanup.

Went to the Meet & Greet last night at DomConLA.  I was sitting at the Lounge enjoying my *one allowed * Lemon Drop, when I heard the lovely Lady next to me telling her friend about a client that called yesterday afternoon.  The word “Doctor” was the flag that caught my ears.  He had called back to leave a threatening message after she refused to drive to Anaheim to meet him for a session without some payment upfront since she did not know him.  I asked her if this was yesterday afternoon?  “Yes” was the reply.  “Was it a 714 number?”  “Yes.” was the answer.  We shot out our phones and compared.  He had called me 5 minutes after leaving his Voice Message.  Same Spiel.  I will filling out a form on Verifyhim.com this morning.

It is a small world.

For the Providers:

This man says he is a Doctor.  He has 24 hours free and wants to spend 12 of them overnight with the provider.  He offers more than your published rate.  He does not offer references nor will pay a deposit.  He wants you to dress in all leather with leather gloves on a day that is 102 degrees.  He might change this story but he is simply stringing you on the phone wasting your time, trying to find a point at which either you say yes and drive to a non-existent client or he prefers to get you to the point of saying “Goodbye”.  His fetish is dominating you by the mere fact that you must answer your phone to do business and then wasting your time.

This type of man is why we don’t answer “Private Numbers”, we like to get to the point of your call and not chat about this and that.  We ask if you are a member of a screening service web site, such as date-check or preferred 411.  We ask for a deposit if we have never met you before.

I love my life and I love my job.  One bad apple does ruin it.  I do find it interesting that Ms Chaps and I sat next to each other the next night.  I was able to assure her she is not alone in having some jerk harass her.  We toasted all our fabulous clients and how much we appreciate them.

There is no coffee pot in room, so, I go to Starbuck’s on Dearborn and Ontario.

Where do I eat?  Actually, I like to walk down to Wholefoods and eat a hot plate from the offerings of the day. There is a Rosebud’s a block off of Huron at Rush.

I like to walk down Michigan Avenue.  I like the clothes in Chicago.  Even chain stores do not stock the same clothes in every store.  I like the weight of the materials in Chicago and in general, the styles the city stores display.  I am looking for new thigh high black leather boots…….just sayin’

My flight from Boston to Detroit took me through Nashville.  I know. WTF?  It was fine though, as at the Nashville Airport there was a Nail Salon across from my gate to transfer to the plane going to Detroit.  I had a manicure and chatted with the lovely woman.  She recommended a fish restaurant, saying how she was from Detroit, her parents still lived there and it was where they went to dine when she visited.

I stayed at The Antheneum Hotel this time.  It has large suite rooms, a huge bathroom, that are decorated modern.  It was tres cool.

I have a regular hotel I stay at in Boston, the Omni Parker House.  I like it.  I like the delivery of Coffee with Soy milk to my room as a premium club member.  I order the grapefruit juice to drink later in the day as my second choice drink.

Last summer while at The Drake in Toronto, I discovered Vigiiant Eats  http://www.vigilant-eats.com/  which I pack in my carry-on and enjoy for breakfast.

I return to Boston to see all the wonderful gentlemen I have the pleasure of knowing.  I have been visiting Boston about 3 – 4 times a year now for four years.  It is exciting for me to be able to build on our experiences and be comfortable, as these are gents I know, I trust and I know I am safe playing with them.  It allows for deeper exploration.  I appreciate that.

Sunday, I walked down the  street the Marathon will be raced on.  It is lined with upscale little shops, some chains, some boutiques.  I liked The Fairy Shop.  It was filled with fairies,  miniature hobbit homes, unicorns, a palifera of fantasy stuff.

I am never impressed with the Hilton at the Convention Center.  It meets the criteria though.  Rainy day Monday.

This was my first time flying into Reagan National Airport.  Since I have 2 full size luggage cases plus carry-on, I took the super shuttle to my hotel.  Monday to Thursday I enjoyed being one block exactly from Dupont Circle Park.  The Embassy Row Hotel offers free breakfast, including hot oatmeal.  I bought my soy milk at the CVS on Dupont Circle.  I really enjoyed that my clients wanted to explore BDSM.

Thursday through Sunday morning I moved to The Palomar, a block away.  My room was extra spacious.  I could have done Pony Play in it my room was so big.  Imagine two of these beds, a desk and 20 x 30 feet of open space.

They served wine, olives and crackers at 5 PM each night and there was a Starbuck’s next door.  Personally, I loved the leopard print extra fluffy bathrobe. Yes!

Wow, this went fast.  I had work this week at home in LA.  So absolutely fantastic! I got to use both the dungeon in Tarzana and the dungeon on the West side. Cool beans.

I practiced with my human Ponies at Kenneth Hahn Park a couple mornings.  That was great.  We had a LA Pony and Critter Club Play Date on Saturday at 1 PM and we tried out my Show Pony routine.  I want to perform it at DomConLA.  It is so fun, yet hard cardio.  Who knew 3 minutes could seem so long?

I barely got my hair done and blood test done, but yes, checked off and I am A-OK!
