Chicago November 12 – 15

I stayed at the Hotel Felix again. I like it, despite the lack of a real closet. they had some new art outside:

The dog on a leash is an addition to the Blue Robotman that was there the last time I stayed here.

I love the different architecture thrown together in Chicago. Here is a capture walking back to my hotel one evening:

During my stay in Chicago I read “Memoirs of a buccaneer”

http://www.amazon.com/Memoirs-buccaneer-unrepentant-prodigious-Borgnefesse/dp/B0007DZC3K

This is a fabulous read. It really doesn’t matter if it is true, or made up, it isn’t a wank porn book about being a pirate, yet it isn’t the Disney version either, just enough to give color and reality and a good look at what it was truly like for the leading character.

I had the good fortune to read this book at the Starbuck’s closest to the hotel during the mornings. I met a fascinating woman, Michelle, whom I talked with and greatly enjoyed her company. She invited me to dinner, one that she made at her home on my final evening in town. I was blessed to have accepted. My night included a delicious meal and hours of conversation with her, her husband and her sister-in-law. It was a fabulous evening. I hope to see her again when I return to Chicago.

Minneapolis November 7 – 11

Who knew that Target sells soy milk? I didn’t, until I was in downtown Minneapolis and two blocks away from Target. Cool beans.

I stayed at one of the coolest hotels I have ever been to, Le Meridien Chambers.

Some of the art:

You don’t see art like this at other hotels in their Lobby. just sayin’

They serve LaVazza Coffee downstairs at the restaurant from 5 am – 11 am complimentary. Huzzah!

It was snowing as I was leaving Minneapolis. So, I was getting out of Dodge just in time.

Snowing just as I am leaving, not enough to delay my plane though. 😉

Behind the Scenes with Gigalos Season 3

I just found this:

Start at 10 seconds, 50 seconds, 1:11 minutes. 😉

Boston October 22 – 25

Downtown Boston has history bounding at every corner, something got signed, some got massacred, someone got hanged, here is the cemetery where “___” is, you have to love the plaques everywhere for the Historic Freedom Trail. I like the people that give history tours and dress up. I stay at a boutique hotel near the Old City Hall. There is a neighborhood market that I can buy soy milk, oatmeal and snacks. My favorite coffee shop is The Boston Common. I ate the best burger of my entire life at Scholars American Bistro & Cocktail Lounge!

Bacon fat burger, smoked maple syrup, melted brie, grilled tomato and soup at Scholars $12

As always, what makes Boston special to me is the incredible clients I know here. Thank you!

Manhattan October 15 – 18

Manhattan is always good to me. I am so blessed to have such fine clients. This is another city where I stay at the same little boutique hotel. I love it, oldstyle charming, the staff is nice to me, there is a kitchenette & microwave to prepare most of my meals and there is room to play in my room. There is a grocery store four blocks away and I have a favorite 24 hour local market that has buffet counters of food if I need something fast between work. The view this time:

East Midtown, the view from my patio.

Philadelphia October 8 – 14

Philly is always a favorite stop on my tour because one of my best friends moved here from LA and I have a new friend of going on three years now here in Philly, both of whom I look forward to visiting with during my stay.

Philly is also where I take a morning to do laundry.

I am a real person, I do laundry =P

One of my favorite restaurants while working in Philadelphia is Mixto Cafe. It is a Cuban restaurant just around the corner from my hotel.

Maduro Relleno $7 at Mixto Cafe

Another favorite is the Garces Trading Company a few blocks away:

Moules Frites blue hill bay mussels, allagash-saffron broth, duck fat fries $12 at Garces Trading Company

The Spaniard grilled chicken, romesco aioli, applewood smoked bacon, marinated tomato $10 at The Garces Trading Company

and over one of these fine meals, I was with one of my best friends, Astra. Her brother went to BurningMan this last August. He had lots of positive stories to tell her and Astra is wanting to go herself. She will be taking my reins, delivery mail each morning as part of the BurningMan Pony Express. I am beyond thrilled.

The Fall Fox Hunt October 6th

Hide & Go Seek coupled with Chase meets Tag Your It makes for one very fun day. I love my time with the LA Pony and Critter Club, I always look forward to playing and hanging with these people.

My favorite pic:

My favorite sexy Fox captured, with two fine Ponies to lead.

Be sure to peruse the entire Hunt in the Free Pic Events Gallery

Folsom Street Fair 2012 Bonus

During the Folsom Street Fair, I was Interviewed by “Slutever”. She is a gorgeous girl, one I would have talked to, answered any questions and given a cart ride to even if there wasn’t a camera there, but this way, I get to share the experience with You. Enjoy!

Washington DC September 25 – 29

I visited a new part of District of Columbia this tour, I stayed in Warden Park. This meant I was staying at a new hotel, the Washington Marriott on Woodley Road. It is a nice walk around area, just north of DuPont Circle, with a Red Line Metro stop right at the base of the hill where the Marriott is. How super convenient is that?

I loved the bear there.

I mark the Zoo stop at the Red Line Metro in DC

There were several nice restaurants right there on Woodley, one of them being a French restaurant, Petite Plats and an Italian Restaurant. They both had friendly staff, clean little cafes and good eats. It is nice to get out of my hotel room sometimes and breathe the fresh air, enjoy the neighborhood, and have polite conversation with my waiter.

My stay was wonderful thanks to the gentlemen I know in DC. Return clients are the opportunity to know a person better, know how their kink works for them better, trust them more and explore deeper, all of which is very rewarding. Thank you.

How I do Folsom Street Faire Weekend

I have been attending and participating in the San Francisco Folsom Street Faire since 2007

Photo by Erin Lubin for The Chronicle

The last few years my participation has evolved to new levels that I truly love and cherish. I stay at America’s Best Value Inn because the hotel is right in the heart of Folsom Street Fair, making returning to my room for costume changes easy, a short amount of time to do so and painless. Plus, they know me, it is always great to return to a place that knows who you are and welcomes you.

The weekend includes going to the Northern CA Renaissance Fair to see Brenda the Braider and have my long hair piled up on my head in braids. She is a wizard, an artist, simply incredible at braiding hair.

The LA Pony and Critter Club has a booth at 10th Street and Folsom Street, which is where the Animal Cavalcade starts from at 11 am. We do two parades during the fair.

The LA Pony and Critter Club Booth is evolving too. In 2012 we (Tindala and I) gave cart rides from 1 PM to 3 :30 PM in a loop on 10th Street behind the tent. Next year we hope to have photos for sale, dressage books for sale and give cart rides in shifts with other Ponies and Trainers. We are on the track of “better” where there is in finish line. 😉
