Let’s chat about Masturbation!

Masturbation is good for you.  Cumming is good for you.  It improves your physical, mental and spiritual health.  Personally, I am of the view that Sex (including sex with yourself) is God’s greatest gift to mankind.  And you are most likely your best and kinkiest sex partner.

It is easy to ask yourself if you want to try something new and different.  Cross dress. Play with your food.  Explore leather or latex.  And TOYS!  My gosh, there are some awesome toys out there to explore and play with.

Self love.  We can be our worse critic, hardest on our self in judgement.  Take time to make love to yourself.  Set the mood, you are worth lighting your favorite candle for or having your favorite drink.  Touch yourself, talk to yourself, hold yourself.  Brush your skin.  Polish with a scrub after.  Give yourself a pedicure and/or manicure.  Take some oil you love the scent of and rub it all over your body.

Bring yourself to Orgasm.

Start with touching your genitals, caress them  This gives your emotional center in your brain a ping.

Dr. Dougherty says. “When your genitals are stimulated, they’ll “send a signal to your brain’s limbic system waking your emotional centers of the brain. The limbic is a network of nerves and systems in the brain, controlling instinct and mood, basic emotions (fear, pleasure, anger) and drives (hunger, sex, dominance, care of offspring).”

Start with opening up your brain, thinking about fantasies, a story, a situation, a picture that turns you on.  Your biggest sex organ is your brain.  Let it run wild, give it permission to envision what it wants most.  Are their smells that turn you on?  Go for it.

Use your hands, toys, mix it up, it is all good.  For women, you can stimulate just the clitoris, or just the g-spot, or vaginal stimulation or “blended orgasm”. There are (quite literally) too many different kinds of blended orgasms to count. To name a few: combined vaginal and clitoral stimulation (my favorite), combined anal and clitoral stimulation, G-spot and clitoral stimulation, cervical and clitoral stimulation, nipple and anal stimulation. It goes on and on.

Orgasm lowers stress, tones pelvic muscles, lights up the centers in the brain, gives you a rush of endorphins, hormones during stimulation and  oxytocin is released when you climax.  It helps you sleep, as after the oxytocin, you receive a wallop of endorphin rush and they can have a sedative effect.  That natural oxytocin can lower blood pressure and reduce stress levels.

ABC News reports that men who have climaxed at least three times a week lower their risk of heart attack by 50 percent. Worth it.

A study found that when men masturbated to completion, their orgasms increased the number of white blood cells, so their immune system became stronger and they can fight off illnesses faster than usual.

Sex is good for your body with all of its cardio exercise, depending on how much of a work out you give yourself and having an orgasm?  The Mirror reported that it can increase your infection-fighting cells by 20 percent, making you even healthier.

Good Housekeeping reports that oxytocin lowers your cortisol levels and decreases the inflammation of your skin and can make pimples less noticeable.

Oxytocin has been found to increase bone density, making it a hormone that can help prevent osteoporosis and other bone diseases.

So, we are all done for this, right?
