Dallas January 14 to 18

I stayed at the Marriott City Center this time in Dallas.  I love that it is part of the Plaza of the Americas where a Corner Bakery is located for good Lunch eats.  There is a walkway that takes me across the street to the Chase Bank Building and Starbuck’s in the morning.  Walking in downtown Dallas in January in a sleeve less top – wow.  I also enjoy that this hotel has a lovely gym to work out in and I use it daily.  Lately I am into watching “Pride and Prejudice” or “Young Victoria” on my ipad while exercising.  I guess I am feeling romantic. 😉

What makes a great week for me is seeing people I know.  A client I have had since I first became a professional submissive is here in Dallas, and I was so happy to see my phone light up as he called.  Unexpected and thrilled.  I also am blessed to see the same dominant men each time I visit Dallas, so that we can expand and explore our BDSM experience together.  I look forward to seeing these fantastic men each time I visit.  It would not be the same without each of them – it is all my pleasure to serve them.

Thank you all so much.  It was a fabulous visit to Dallas.  I wish every week of my life could be so wonderful.

Las Vegas January 7 – 12

I was in Vegas during the computer conference.  I have learned that my clients are there during this time, as I was requested by some to be there.

The most unusual session and request was…..

wait for it…..

drum roll…..

Playing my flute in public with my client playing the piano accompaniment.    There happens to be a piano on the Business Meeting Rooms level of the Flamingo Hotel.  Who knew?  I had one month to get music and practice some pieces to be played.  I haven’t played my flute in years.  I played professionally until I was 27 years old.  I played in a community orchestra and other community level organizations for another 5 years.  I take my flute out very, very occasionally and play for myself now.  When one, such as I, knows how I sound if I practiced 8 hours a day like I did when it was my job, it is humbling to hear me play.  I enjoy and am grateful that I am talented in music, I have an ear for music – the phrasing, the shaping of a melodic line, I have rhythm and muscle memory of playing that does not ever abandon me.  Still, when people passed by and gathered, stopping to listen and clapping, I was embarrassed.  I am not often truly embarrassed.  I did not let it stop me from continuing to play my flute.  At the end, the mouth hurt, my tongue hurt, my fingers hurt, the next day my core hurt from using muscles I have not used for a long long time. However,  I did love the experience so.  It was an excellent time.  I’d do it again in a heartbeat.

Thank YOU.  I love my life.

My “Staycation” is coming to an end…..

What does a person that travels ALL the time do for a vacation?  Stay at home.

Yes, that’s right.  I have been home, with a couple  short trips to San Diego to visit friends and family since December 15th. OMG.

I did shoot content for my site while in Los Angeles. With a Membership to AskSubMissAnn you will now be getting a new video clip each week. The BDSM porn I shot during my Staycation will be available exclusively on my site.

While home each month this year , I will shoot more exclusive video available only on my site.

How’s that for a New Year’s resolution?

Let the Good Times Roll

I celebrated the dawn of the New Year with a friend, watching the sun rise.

Sunrise over San Diego

We then went off to Denny’s for my first meal of the New Year.

Egg Whites, spinach & tomatoes with lean Turkey bacon and an English muffin.

My New Year was fun, sexy, unexpected bliss. I hope you celebrated in grand fashion also. 😉

At Home in Los Angeles

Most of my mornings are spent at Kenneth Hahn Park training Ponies and Trainers. It is really good to get up, have a purpose and move the body, get in the flow, and get going. I love my hobby, the LA Pony and Critter Club and the very special people that participate in it. We’re freaks.

If you want a morning appointment, please just arrange it in advance, as my work has priority over my hobby, just as your life works that way. 😉

I am looking forward to spending Friday, December 21st to Christmas with Family and a good friend. Love my family to pieces. Now, there is a relationship that represents a lot of ongoing work, cultivating, nurturing, heart, soul and love. As all relationships, it works best when everyone involved is participating.

I am currently taking a break this morning from working on sorting my receipts for taxes and getting a head start on organizing all of this while I am home, so that I can file in a timely fashion. My Tax Accountant will be stunned. Everyone’s business has paperwork, tax filing, and mine is no different.

I remember the year, as a musician just out of college that I made enough money to finally pay taxes. I was ever so excited. That is truly the spirit to have.

It is all the people I come in contact with that make my work special, make it worthwhile and I love it so much. I love my life.

Phoenix December 10 – 14

I loved the sunny days and the excellent hotel I stayed at in Phoenix. The Palomar, a Kimpton Hotel, is downtown at the Cityscape shopping center. My room was beautiful.

It amused me that they wrap their over-blanket in bondage each day. 😉 They have a registration desk Lobby and a Livingroon, which is the same level as “The Blue Hound” Bar. They have a list of items you can ask for complimentary, including a coffee maker, razor, and toothpaste. Just ask.

I enjoyed the gents I did see. In truth, biz was good but a tad light and I might not return, as I didn’t hear from my return clients in Phoenix. Ce la Vie.

Tampa Bay December 3 – 7

Street Art is always fascinating to me. This tour I was in a new section of Tampa Bay, I was in Downtown. I liked it, with the RiverWalk a couple blocks away, a Publix Super Market about 6 blocks away and a trolly to Yber 2 blocks away. It was a beautiful 80 degrees out during the day and walks along the River were sweet.

That was where I saw Nemo on Steroids

The trolley was very cool to ride. Flat terrain makes for a much duller ride than being in San Francisco, but I stilled loved the wood and the machinery of it. The trolley took me to the closest Full Service Chase ATM. Yber is also an enjoyable place to grab some good eats, drinks at pubs or go clubbing because that is what I saw over and over again. The streets are lined with a distinctive architecture of two story brick buildings and rod iron decorated balconies. I chose Bernini’s on 7th, the Salmon entree for $12.50 which starts with Roasted Red Pepper soup – yum!

The reason I love coming to Tampa Bay is the gents I know. There is one gentleman I have played with for going on past three years now. He likes serious bondage, rope bondage, breast torture, and sadistic play. He likes to use the laundry rope you get at the market and when he is done, he just cuts it off along with the Saran Wrap. Maybe he likes that too. 😉 Me, the smile says it all.

Saran Wrao and laundry rope are your friends 😉

Brimstone, Asbury Park November 22 – 26

This is my second year at Brimstone. Love, LOVE, LOVE it!

Because

this is where I see PonyBixy and DebbieDancer and I train these two beautiful Ponies.

We all met up at the Thanksgiving Feast, and I have to say, it was brilliant. We enjoyed an excellent dinner of turkey, gravy, stuffing, cranberries, sweet potatoes and vegetables. It was fabulous to be in the company of PonyBixy and her fiancee, DebbieDancer and the others at our table.

The official opening of Brimstone is at Noon on Friday. I had the ponies up at 9:30 am to do gaits for an hour. My first class was 3 PM, BDSM Pony Play (or rainy day Pony Play, as I like to call it). PonyBixy was my demo Pony. We explored bondage, veterinary play, accepting a butt plug horse tail while receiving forced pleasure and being tied down, it was an extreme class for me, and PonyBixy truly gave to me and I went away with an incredible trainer high that lasted all weekend.

The next day was more gaits practice in the morning, grooming class and pony training techniques. I loved the Pony workshop time to train PonyBixy and DebbieDancer for their Pony show performance. At 11 am on Sunday was a class on “why bio Ponies do what they do” by Andalusia. Just me and Artemis Pony and Andalusia for an insightful and learning class for me. Huzzah!

The Pony show was great fun. DebbieDancer won “Most Improved Pony” and PonyBixy won “Grand Championship”. I am so proud of both of them.

We all went for a fabulous cart ride on the boardwalk after the Pony Show. We got PonyBixy’s fiancee to take her reins driving the cart. I think that is all it took to hook him on why this Pony Play stuff is so much fun.

because it is, you know, just sayin’ ;-D

Lost and Found

There is always a moment of anxiety as I watch the carousel deliver my bags off the airline from my travel. I wait for two bags, my toy bag and my work clothes. I would be hurt financially if I had to replace either, they represent time and money to collect just the right item for work.

Returning from Detroit, only my clothes made the entire journey.

I went to the Southwest Luggage Office and filed a claim. there is really nothing more you can do and the people there aren’t the people that lost your luggage, they are the people trying to find your luggage for you.

I had my daughter and grandchildren waiting for me at home. Life is rather perfect that way because when you are with your grandchildren, they demand all of your attention. I had an amazing time with them.

When I awoke on Thursday,Thanksgiving Day, I had this thought trail through my mind about how several weeks ago the side handle had been broken off my luggage traveling into Philadelphia by the airline. The airline doesn’t consider that damage, by the by. It is only damage if they put a hole in the main compartment of your suitcase, the zipper and handles don’t count. My thought was that if they had broken the top handle, the label they stuck around it would have fallen off and my luggage would be sitting unmarked and unclaimed somewhere.

I was traveling to Newark airport that day for a conference, Brimstone, that is in Asbury Park. It took a bit of time to wait for my luggage to be delivered and I noticed that the Luggage Claim Office there was open and there was no line in the office. I stepped in to chat with them. I told them my thoughts I had had that morning, that I had traveled from Detroit to Denver to LA. One of the women asked what the bag looked like and what was in it. Upon hearing what was in it, the woman at the computer turned into her monitor and started focusing on the screen while she typed. No, there was no unmarked bag in Detroit. I thanked them for looking and went back to the carousel to look for my conference luggage.

The woman who had asked me the questions came up and asked if she and the others could have my card. They wanted to know more, and they had never met someone so open, so they thought they could ask me. I was happy to give out my card.

A bit more time went by, and finally, my bag was there to claim on the carousel. again, I was tapped on the shoulder, it was the same woman from the Luggage Claim Office, she was smiling while telling me her comrade in the off ice had found my luggage. It was in the unmarked/unclaimed store room in Denver. The description I gave of the bag matched perfectly.

They offered to deliver it to me (not a good option, I would then have 3 bags and be paying for extra bags on my return to LA), deliver it to my home (not a good option, I wasn’t there) or deliver it to the claim office in Los Angeles for me to pick up upon my return there (perfect).

Southwest Airlines gave me a $50.00 voucher for my inconvenience. I am blessed that my things return to me.

And kudos to the Ladies in the Southwest Baggage Claim Office in Newark for being truly service oriented. I am *SO* grateful. Thank you.

Detroit November 16 – 19

My first time in Detroit, and I was welcomed by the gents here. That is always awesome. I stayed at the Westin Book Cadillac. Westin has put a lot of money into restoring this fabulous hotel. The rooms are incredible:

The bathroom was bigger than some hotel rooms I used to get while staying in Manhattan.

I did get out to the Hard Rock Cafe, as it was only a few blocks away. No luck finding a local market with soy milk here, I ordered it from the hotel. There is a breakfast restaurant at the Westin Book Cadillac and the bar menu here is good.

Gotta love facebook. When I arrived in town, I saw that a couple I met at the Great Lakes Leather Alliance was visiting Detroit at the same time. We met for lunch. I wasn’t able to attend the event they came to town to participate in , as I had work, but I am not complaining. I was in Detroit to work. Thank you, Detroit, you made my November sing.
